Bandai unveiled two new products on the official Gundam Card Game website on Oct. 23, 2026. The Extra Booster 'Cosmic Crisis [EB02]', featuring 『Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO』, is scheduled to launch in Japan on Feb. 27, 2027, followed by the 『Mobile Suit Gundam UC』 Start Deck 'Unicorn Awakening [ST15]' on April 17 of the same year. In Japan, suggested retail prices are 250 yen per pack for EB02 and 3,850 yen for ST15 (both tax included).

EB02 Features 100 Types + 3 Token Types; US Version Offers 12 Cards per Pack

EB02 is the second Extra Booster following 'Eternal Nexus [EB01]', which was released on June 27, 2026. The Japanese price for EB01 was 242 yen per pack (tax included). According to the official website, EB02 contains 100 card types and 3 token types.

Configurations vary across regional editions. The Japanese and Asia English versions contain 6 cards per pack, with both sharing a release date of Feb. 27, 2027. The US English version features 12 cards per pack with an MSRP of $4.99 and is scheduled for release one day earlier on Feb. 26. Product images have not yet been revealed, and product pages currently display only "coming soon" placeholders. The number of packs per box has also not yet been disclosed.

ST15 Unicorn Start Deck Arrives April 17

ST15 consists of a ready-to-play 50-card deck, 10 Resource cards, 6 Token cards, 6 damage counter dice, a playsheet, and 1 bonus pack. The Japanese edition also includes 1 damage counter sheet. The Japanese release date is Saturday, April 17, 2027, which is shared by the Asia English version. The US version is scheduled for April 16 with an MSRP of $39.99, and its product contents also list 25 non-deck cards.

On the same day, Bandai also announced the schedule for the 2026-27 World Championship Regional Finals. Four locations were revealed: North America (Orlando, Jan. 7–10, 2027), Europe (London, Jan. 15–17), Oceania (Marvel Stadium in Australia, Jan. 16), and Latin America (Santiago, Jan. 17). Winners will receive invitations to the World Championships. No Asian or Korean host venues were included in the announced schedule.

Korean Release Remains Undecided

The Gundam Card Game official website is available in five languages: Japanese, English (US), Traditional Chinese, English (Asia), and Simplified Chinese. There is no Korean-language page, and no Korean release dates have been announced for EB02 or ST15. For now, domestic players in South Korea will access the new products through either the Japanese or Asia English editions. Both editions share the same release dates and pack configuration (6 cards per pack).
