The official English Pokémon TCG X account (@PokemonTCG) revealed the card image of the Trainer card 'Mega Rayquaza Cap' at 4:00 a.m. on the 28th (KST), which will be included in the expansion 'Mega Evolution—Delta Reign' releasing on the 6th of next month. The post reiterated the November 6 release date alongside the caption, "Thinking caps are out and Mega Rayquaza Cap is in! Find more Pokémon Tool cards and more in Delta Reign."

Card Effect: Attached Pokémon Can Use the Attack 'Delta Gift'

The revealed card is a 'Pokémon Tool'. The details printed on the card image are as follows:

| Item | Content | |---|---| | Card Name | Mega Rayquaza Cap | | Type | Trainer · Pokémon Tool | | Effect | The Pokémon this card is attached to can use the attack on this card. (You still need the necessary Energy to use this attack.) | | Attack | Delta Gift (1 Colorless Energy) — For each of your Pokémon that has a Mega Rayquaza Cap attached, search your deck for a Basic Energy card and attach it to that Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. | | Card Number | 100/103 | | Regulation Mark | J | | Illustration | Ayumi Odashima |

If this card is attached to multiple Pokémon, a single use of 'Delta Gift' allows searching and attaching Basic Energy cards from the deck equal to the number of Pokémon equipped with the cap. However, the rule that only one Pokémon Tool can be attached to a single Pokémon remains in place. This rule is also noted at the bottom of the card.

Delta Reign is a set introduced by the official Pokémon website (pokemon.com) during its product showcase on the 23rd as an expansion containing "over 135 cards." The denominator of the card number for the revealed cap is 103.

Already Included in Japanese and Korean Editions

A card with the same name and effect has already been released in the Asian region. According to the official Japanese website, the Japanese MEGA expansion 'Storm Emeralda' was released on July 31, 2026, at 200 yen per pack (tax included), with Mega Rayquaza Cap and the attack 'Delta Gift' featured on the product page.

The Korean version has also already been released. According to product information on the official Pokémon Korea website, the Korean MEGA expansion 'Storm Emeralda' (스톰에메랄다) was released on August 21, 2026 (1,500 won per pack, 45,000 won per box). The official card database registers 'Mega Rayquaza Cap' (메가레쿠쟈캡) (065/076, Rarity U) with the effect "Attach 1 Basic Energy from your deck to each of your Pokémon that has 'Mega Rayquaza Cap' attached," identical to the English version. The set's featured card, 'Mega Rayquaza ex', is also included as 058/076 (RR), among others.

In other words, this English reveal does not mark the debut of a brand-new card, but rather confirms that a card Korean players have been using since August will be included in the English set starting November 6. As the card structure of the English Delta Reign (denominator 103, over 135 cards) differs from the Japanese and Korean Storm Emeralda (denominator 076), players will need to check the official card list around the release date to see what additional cards have been bundled into the English expansion.
